Wheel thrown stoneware vase with a hand painted water color peony. Approx 3.25” tall 

Peonies are well loved for their large and beautiful blooms, however they have also been long revered for their protective powers. Planted in the garden it wards off evil spirits and storms. It is said the seeds or roots hung around a child’s neck can protect from mischievous faeries or imps. 

Hand wash recommended to preserve the life of your handmade pottery. 🖤
