Lavender Crescent Vase

Wheel thrown vase with lavender flower embellishments. This piece was made by pressing real lavender flowers into the wet clay. It is then fired once, colored with underglaze and a clear glaze on the outside design, then fired a second time for this beautiful and unique result.

Featuring a yellow gold crescent moon & stars. This piece travelled through three separate kiln firings to achieve this finished look. This piece is NOT microwave safe, and only a soft non-abrasive cloth should be used to clean the gold area. 

Approx 4.5” tall

Lavender is known for its fragrant blooms and purple flowers. The essential oil from lavender is used in aromatherapy blends to aid with stress, headaches and restlessness. It is also said to have magical properties such as bringing love, luck, and peace to those who wear& use it.
